Nora woke up and the room was very bright. She ran to the window. Snow covered the cars, the roofs, and the little fence. Her dog barked at the white yard. Nora put on her boots, her hat, and her big green coat. She made a snowman with a carrot nose and two stone eyes. Then she lay down and made a snow angel, and she laughed as the cold flakes fell on her face.
